1. CODE OF CONDUCT:
- Any student who engages in academic or social misconduct shall be subjected to disciplinary action by appropriate office of the college or the student conduct committee.
- The college has the complete right to withdraw the student from St. Andrews College of Physiotherapy because of any lawful reasons.
- As per the provision of Maharashtra Act XXXIII “Maharashtra prohibition of Ragging Act in 1999”, students indulging in ragging can be punished under the act resulting in suspension from the college.
2. ATTENDANCE AND LEAVE POLICY:
- Total working days including examination period are 270 days in a given year.
- College attendance of 80 % is mandatory.
- As per the ordinance No. 01/2014, attendance should not be less than 75% of the lectures delivered in each subject of the course of instruction and 80 % in practical work for the examination during the total academic period. Attendance in both cases shall be calculated till such date before the commencement of the written examination or upto the end of the academic term,whichever is later.
- During the course of study,actual attendance of the students in theory and practical shall be considered as valid attendance.Participation in any gathering or cultural activities or sick leave or any other leave will not be taken into consideration for calculation of attendance.It shall be the duty of Dean/Principal to ensure the correctness of the attendance.
- Students scoring attendance below 80% without any justifiable reasons or without prior appproval from the college authority will be forbidden from attempting the final examination.
- Students have to do biometric for in-time as well as out-time compulsary. Attendance will be calculated on basis of it.
