INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PERSON WITH DISABILITIES

On 10th December 2025, on the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities Week, ZHEP Remedial Learning Center organized a community rally and special programme to raise awareness, promote inclusion, and celebrate the abilities of children with special needs.

The event began with an awareness rally, where students, teachers, and volunteers marched through the community carrying placards and chanting slogans about equality, accessibility, and inclusive education. This was followed by a cultural and educational programme at the school, including a welcome speech by the Principal, a song performance by students emphasizing acceptance, and informative talks by special educators and therapists on early intervention, disability awareness, and community support.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks at 12:30 PM. The event successfully fostered community involvement, promoted awareness, and highlighted the capabilities of students with disabilities.
